SFI Smart Ocean had it’s regular autumn gathering on 22. and 23. October, with approx. 50 participants from academia, industry, research institutions and administration present.

The gathering started with our partner Odfjell Technology presenting themselves for the consortium.

On the program was also status-reports from several of our PhD-candidates. Many impressing results vere reported, along with plans for future work. 

This autumn the Centre is also in the middle of an underway-assessment, and the gathering also had to address that as well, of course, so we spent quite some time working on a revised project plan for the last three years of the Centre, along with detailed working-plans for 2025.

Finally, we also discussed possibilities for spin-off activities: Where do we see potential new research and  innovation activities, and how can we fund that.
